What to Expect

Free Consultation: During a free consultative session I visit your house and we discuss your fitness history, eating habits, previous injuries and fitness goals. An optional body composition and fitness analysis is also available and will be used when writing your workouts. Clients are encouraged to be apart of the exercise prescription process since you know what has worked/not worked in the past.

Body Composition and Fitness Analysis: Body composition includes skin fold and circumference measurements to determine lean body mass %. Fitness level will be determined by following protocol to a series of industry standard exercise tests. These tests include sub-max VO2 (step-test), abdominal endurance (curl-ups), and upper body strength (push-ups).

1 on 1 Training Sessions: A typical training session will begin with a dynamic warm-up and then proceed into functional strength training. After functional training, we will isolate specific areas of the body such as arms, hips, abs, and buns. To finish each session we will cool down with flexibility and balance training.

*Note that all sessions are different depending on the clients goals and desires. For example, some people have a hard time making themselves do cardio. Thats OK. I'm here to do it with you. I'll make sure your heart rate stays in the target zone for maximum efficiency.

Buddy Training: Want to exercise with your spouse or friend? No Problem. Buddy training is a great way to spend time with a friend and get a workout at the same time. Grant is experienced with group fitness and has trained as many as 12 at a time.
